How do I protect myself and others against Coronavirus? The latest information on the application hygiene and behaviour rules issued by the Federal Ministry of Health can be found here. In general, the following rules apply:
3G in the workplace
As of Nov. 24, 2021, the 3G (vaccinated, tested or recovered) rule will apply in the workplace. Workers* are required to present daily proof of 3G to their employing company. Proofs include:
- proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination.
- current proof of recovery
- a negative COVID-19 test: in the case of a PCR test, a time of no more than 48 hours applies; this test must be valid at the time of operational access control. Only certified rapid tests with results no older than 24 hrs are accepted as COVID-19 tests. A self-test performed at home is NOT sufficient for 3G detection.
One of the three verifications must be presented before starting work - please contact your local contact person for this. If you do not present any of the above mentioned verifications when starting work, you cannot be deployed at the moment.
Hand washing
Regular hand washing is absolutely necessary: at least 20 seconds with soap, then rinse thoroughly and - if available - disinfect your hands.
Greeting
Shaking hands or hugging to greet should be avoided.
Coughing or sneezing
Be sure to cough or sneeze into the crook of your arm/ disposable handkerchief.

Contact with infected persons etc.
In case of contact with people with infections or from risk areas, please go home and also in this case contact the family doctor's office by telephone.
