Magiclink doesn't work

If the login with the magiclink does not work, please try the following:

Please make sure you open the email with the magiclink on your smartphone.


Request a new Magiclink

  • Open the jobvalley App
  • Select "Log in"
  • Enter your mail address that is linked with your jobvalley account
  • Tap "Request magiclink" to receive the login link by mail
  • Open the email we sent and tap the login button to log in to the app

Check you E-Mail settings
If you do not receive the mail, please check your spam folder settings and add the domain to the safe senders list.

Clear cache & restart device
Clear the data & cache of the jobvalley App in the device settings of your smartphone. Restart your smartphone.


Delete app and reinstall
Delete the jobvalley App and install the latest app version from the App Store or Play Store and try to open the magiclink again.


iOS: Open link via context menu
Long press on the magiclink until the context menu appears. Then select 'Open in "jobvalley"'.


Android: Check supported links
Check the device settings to see which apps the opening of a link is associated with (the menus differ from device to device, so the way may look different):
a) under Settings - Apps - Apps - "three-dot menu top right" - App links - activate "Open links in apps". If necessary switch off and on again
b) Settings - Apps - Apps - jobvalley - Open by default - Open supported links - Activate "Always ask" or "Always allow". If necessary, switch off and on again.
