The profile icon at the bottom right of the jobvalley app takes you to the “Account & Settings” section. In the “Document upload” section under “Work permit”, you can see why your work permit was rejected.
In the following section you will find the possible reasons for rejection and information on how to upload the document correctly.
I. Document is incorrect or incomplete
The following documents may be required for a review of your work permit. Please check carefully whether you have uploaded them exactly as described.
Note: In most cases, the matching ID document (identity document or passport) for the Temporary residence permit (Fiktionsbescheinigung)/ visa is missing. Please upload this with your Temporary residence permit/ visa.
Residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel)
- Residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel) (front and back)
- Possibly supplementary sheet to the residence permit (all pages folded out, front and back)
Temporary residence permit (Fiktionsbescheinigung)

II. Contents deviating
The contents of the document differ from your specifications. Please upload the document again and enter the exact validity dates that appear in the document.
III. Document is unreadable
Please upload the document again in full and in legible quality.
